Here are three ways to delete a page in Microsoft Word. The first is to place your cursor at the very top of the empty page, and hit the delete key on your keyboard. The blank page will disappear and the cursor will be brought to the bottom of the prior page. Sometimes, however, hitting the delete key alone. Sometimes Word documents contain a last blank page that seems impossible to delete. Just place the cursor after the last character, press: Shift+Command+Forward Arrow key to select all after such last character, and then press the Delete key. That should delete the last blank page. crarko adds.
Learning has never been so easy!
Sometimes when you create a Word document, you end up with an extra blank page at the end of the document that won't go away by pressing delete. This can happen say when you create a table that ends at the bottom margin on the previous page (the page that you wish to be the last page). You can go ahead and try to reformat everything to get it to fit on the page, or you can follow these instructions.
3 Steps totalStep 1: Show paragraph marks.
Turn on the Show/Hide button to reveal paragraph markings. There should be one at the end of the document.
Step 2: Select last paragraph
Select the paragraph mark at the end of the document. This should be at the top of the last page (the page that you wish to be removed).
Step 3: Change the font size to 1
Change the size of the font of the last paragraph to 1. You should see the page disappear after this.
